10 Best Prelit Skinny Christmas Trees 2026 in the United States

The Balsam Hill 9ft Pre-Lit Classic Blue Spruce is a tall, elegant artificial Christmas tree designed to create a striking centerpiece in spacious rooms with high ceilings. It stands 9 feet tall and spreads 68 inches wide, offering a full, dense look with over 4,600 realistic branch tips in blue-green and silvery tones, mimicking a real Blue Spruce. The tree comes pre-lit with 1,500 clear LED lights that are hand-strung and UL certified, providing a warm and inviting glow without harsh heat. One of its standout features is the Easy Plug System, which simplifies setup by connecting all lights through the trunk to a single plug, meaning you won’t have to untangle multiple strings of lights.

It also includes a sturdy stand for stable support and a storage bag, though the tree ships compressed and requires careful fluffing of branches to achieve its full, natural shape. While the fluffing process takes some time, it is key to bringing out the tree’s heirloom-quality appearance. At 47 pounds, it’s relatively manageable for its size but still requires some effort to assemble and decorate. The included extra bulbs and protective glove are nice touches that enhance convenience.

This tree is ideal for those looking for a premium, realistic-looking pre-lit Christmas tree that works best in large spaces. If you have limited ceiling height or need a narrower tree, this might feel too wide and tall. Its price and size position it more as an investment for family traditions rather than a casual or small-space option.

This Balsam Hill 9-foot Classic Blue Spruce tree stands tall with a 9-foot height and a fairly full width of 68 inches, making it a strong choice for large rooms or spaces with high ceilings. It features over 4600 branch tips and 1500 clear incandescent lights, hand-strung to provide warm, even lighting and a traditional holiday feel. The branch material is high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that mimics real spruce needles. One standout feature is the Easy Plug Technology, which connects all lights through the trunk so you only need one plug—this helps avoid the hassle of tangled or multiple light cords.

Assembly requires careful fluffing of the branches to achieve its full, realistic look, and the tree ships compressed, so expect some setup time. The package includes useful extras like a sturdy stand with scratch-proof feet, a foot pedal to control the lights, extra bulbs and fuses, protective gloves, and a storage bag to keep the tree safe between holidays. At 48 pounds, it’s relatively heavy, which reflects its sturdy build but may require two people to set up comfortably.

This tree is on the wider side for a “skinny” category, making it ideal if you want a presence that fills a large space without compromising on light coverage or realism. The clear incandescent lights provide a classic look, but if you prefer colored or LED lights, this model won’t offer that option. This tree is well-suited for those looking for a traditional, elegant centerpiece for large rooms and who don’t mind spending some time on assembly and fluffing to get the best appearance.
